My Sons
  • An Unfavoured Fortune

After I got 14th rank in SSC exams conducted by State SSC board of Andhra Pradesh, everybody thought that I could do miracles in my life. Those were the days when every male in any house was expected to be an engineer, as aspired by the parents. Like wise like all, I too was compelled to take MPC (Maths, Physics and Chemistry) as the optional subjects at Intermediate to become an engineer in the future. Since begining I liked Chemistry and used to do very well in this subject. Though, I have put in my best efforts, I couldn't get a suitable rank in the competetive exams for the entry into engineering college. Everyone was upset with my performance. This incident changed my life in total. I was feeling guilty for an unknown reason and was looking forward to move away from my parents as I didn't want my self to be a burden over them. For that reason I took up the employment at the very early stages of my life, when I was barely 18 years old. But my zest for education never cooled and I kept on studying and added laurels to my name in the form of degrees. Although, every time I proved my self, for some or other reason my success could not be celebrated due to the so called unfavoured fortune. But I wish that one day certainly I would prove myself and turn this "Unfavoured Fortune" into "A Favoured Fortune"
